R&D Hours of Operation Update: Normal Late Season Hours Commencing and Easter Weekend Hours

We are encouraged to see the region’s road network coming back to normal over the last few weeks and congestion issues continue to decrease. This work is still ongoing across the region, however, based on customer feedback we will be reverting to our normal late season hours from Monday 3 April.

LATE PROCESS – ZONES 19 & 20
Napier Port will offer a late process of containers Monday to Friday for import and export containers, provided that the following conditions are met:
The export container has been pre-advised through the Propel Export Pre-Advice Portal or business-to-business EDI messaging by 1800.
The import container to be collected is a specific nominated container and not a hazardous or out of gauge container (no block stack containers)
The container has a Propel VBS booking, with a truck registration included in Propel VBS by 1800.
The truck enters through Port Security at the Eastern Gate (Marine Parade end) from 1840 onwards. All container trucks must be in by 2100.
There is no late process for empty returns.
R&D EASTER WEEKEND 2023 HOURS
After discussions with exporters, please be advised that Napier Port’s Container Terminal and Thames Street I & II Depots will be closed for receiving and delivery from Good Friday through to Easter Monday, as detailed below.
