Napier Port (NZX.NPH) today reports improved revenue and underlying earnings for the first half of the 2020 financial year with growth in Container Services and Cruise offsetting the effect of lower log volumes later in the period due to key export market conditions and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Please note that the Container Terminal and Thames I & II Depots will be closed for R&D on Monday 1 June 2020 due to the Queen’s Birthday public holiday. Vessel operations are unaffected by this closure.
Port Pass card collections will continue to be suspended at Alert Level 2 until further notice. Please note that a health and safety induction certificate must be presented at Napier Port, either as a hard copy print out or a screenshot on a phone, in order to gain access to the port.
As we commence Alert Level 2 this week, Napier Port is making further adjustments to shift our operations back towards a new normal.
Effective from June 15, container fumigation processes will relocate to Genera’s own site at 18 Severn Street, Pandora.
As part of an ongoing process to improve the port’s security and access procedures, we will be implementing a new delivery lock box process at the Napier Port Eastern Gate effective from Friday 8 May.
