Now that we are at Alert level 1 and have reached the end of our traditional export peak season, we will be lifting the seven day container receival window, effective from Monday 22 June.
Now that we are at Alert level 1 Port Pass card collections will resume from Monday 15 June 2020. Also, our high-tech infrastructure system to support Port Pass is on track to be completed and up and running in August. Once this system is live, all port users will need to have a Port Pass card to access Napier Port.
A Napier Port-led commercial trial at Manawatū Inland Port is already delivering cost efficiencies and greater shipping choice for regional importers and exporters across the central North Island.
Napier Port (NZX.NPH) is on track to start dredging for 6 Wharf this week, taking the port one step closer to finishing the wharf by the end of 2022.
As we come toward the end of the peak season, Napier Port will be returning to standard R&D hours of operation from Monday 8 June 2020.
