From 1 September 2020, Napier Port will no longer be able to work the bay directly behind the bridge of container vessels. This operational restriction is due to the construction of Napier Port’s new 6 Wharf, which is planned for completion in late 2022.
Napier Port (NZX.NPH) today reports lower revenue and underlying earnings for the nine months to 30
June 2020 due to reductions in container and bulk cargo volumes as the result of COVID-19 disruptions.
Napier Port is changing some of the fees for the services we offer, effective from 1 October 2020.
We are holding a trial with all Pan Pac logging trucks tomorrow between 5:00AM – 11:00AM at 7 Shed to identify a central unchaining location at Napier Port. This is part of our commitment to keep everyone safe while working on port.
