The strong swell event at Napier Port is subsiding. We are pleased to advise, based on current swell forecasts and conditions, that we are planning for shipping to resume at 0600 on Saturday 29 May.
Napier Port (NZX.NPH) today reports improved revenue and underlying earnings for the first half of the 2020 financial year with growth in Container Services and Cruise offsetting the effect of lower log volumes later in the period due to key export market conditions and the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a further update, the strong swell event arrived at Napier Port yesterday evening. Based on forecasts, the duration of this swell is now set to extend out further to Sunday morning (30 May).
