Export Receivals – Removal of Six Day Rule for the Off Season
Kia ora,
For Off Season – From 1 August, Napier Port has removed the 6 Day Rule restrictions and is fully open for all export receivals.
- Our Shipping Schedule on the website will show OPEN in the Export Receival column.
- Cargo cut-offs will revert to the day before vessels start work – ALL exports must be pre-advised with a valid CEDO by 1600 hours on the day of cut-off even if accepted as a late receival.
Shipping Lines may still require a 7-day rule therefore you are required to gain acceptance in writing from the lines prior to delivering your early containers to Napier Port.
We would like to extend our thanks to all of you, for working with us during the 2024 Produce Season. We look forward to the next season.
Ngā mihi,
Robert van Rooyen

Sustainability aligned with global goals:
At the United Nations summit meeting in September 2015, world leaders adopted 17 global goals (and 169 targets) as a set of universal goals that aim to address the urgent environmental, political and economic challenges facing our world. These are known as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
More information on the SDGs and how Napier Port’s Sustainability Strategy aligns to these can be found here >>
