Further guidance during current COVID-19 outbreak
We have decided to extend the mandatory wearing of masks across our wider port environment and will be communicating this today.
This means anyone on site at Napier Port must wear a mask – it is mandatory and in line with government guidance. Remember, if you are solo in a cab or vehicle you do not have to wear a mask while in the solo situation.
Guidelines for correct use of masks is detailed here.
As we see cases outside of Auckland emerging, we would like to reinforce the following message. If you have been to a location of interest (in any region) since 9 August 2021 listed here, self-isolate and stay away from work until you test negative and have been clear of symptoms for 24 hours.
Lastly, if you have symptoms please self-isolate and stay away from work until you test negative and have been clear of symptoms for 24 hours.

Sustainability aligned with global goals:
At the United Nations summit meeting in September 2015, world leaders adopted 17 global goals (and 169 targets) as a set of universal goals that aim to address the urgent environmental, political and economic challenges facing our world. These are known as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
More information on the SDGs and how Napier Port’s Sustainability Strategy aligns to these can be found here >>
