MEDIA RELEASE
24 AUGUST 2018
After four days, three independent commissioners hearing Napier Port’s resource consent applications have adjourned to receive further information.
Napier Port is applying to construct a 350-metre wharf on the northern edge of the container terminal to accommodate more frequent visits from a growing number of vessels, including increasingly larger ships.
So far, commissioners have heard from Napier Port, submitters and Hawke’s Bay Regional Council.
The hearing will be reconvened at a date to be determined by the Commissioners.
