As part of the Napier Port Transformation (NPT) programme, a new road way and associated road markings between Wharf 5 and Port Pack (4 Shed) are scheduled to be painted commencing from Monday 7 September through to Sunday 13 September.
Please note: The works are subject to suitable weather and operational requirements. If the schedule changes, we’ll advise port users accordingly.
See the below map for the temporary roadway to follow next week, including a temporary parking area for Port Pack trucks that are delivering to the annex.
The below map shows what the new roadway will look like once works are complete. Parking for Port Pack trucks delivering to the annex has been outlined in red.
What You Need to Know
Once the new markings are in place, all drivers and port users must follow the new traffic layout and standard road rules at all times. Please remember to:
Follow the marked traffic lanes.
Follow all directional arrows, road markings and signage.
These requirements apply to all vehicles using this area of the Port.
