R&D UPDATE: Napier Port R&D Hours of Operation – 1630 close from Monday 14 July

Please be advised, Napier Port will be reducing R&D opening hours at our Container Terminal Western Gate and Thames St I and II Depots. From Monday 14 July 2025, our hours of operation will be as follows:

*Late process – zones 17 & 18 
On the days marked with an asterisk (*), Napier Port will offer a late process for import and export containers, provided the following conditions are met:

• The export container has been pre-advised through the Propel Export Pre-Advice Portal or business-to-business EDI messaging by 1600hrs.
• The import container to be collected is a specific nominated container and not a hazardous or out of gauge container (no block stack containers).
• The container has a Propel VBS booking, with a truck registration included in Propel by 1600hrs.
• The truck enters through Port Security at the Eastern Gate (Marine Parade end) from 1640 to 1900hrs.
