Thames St 1 Depot: Extending Hours From 19 January 2026

In order to support exporters, packpoints and transport companies to pick up last empties at the end of the day for next-morning packing, Thames Street I Depot hours will be extended to a 5.00pm close from today, Monday 19 January.
Please note this change applies to Thames Street I only at this stage. Seasonal hours for other areas will be confirmed in due course.

*Late Process: Zones 17 & 18
On the days marked with an asterisk (*), Napier Port will offer a late process of import and export containers, provided that the following cnditions are met:
The export container has been pre-advised through Propel Export Pre-Advice Portal or business-to-business EDI messaging by by 4:00pm.
The import container to be collected is a specific nominated container and not a hazardous or out of gauge container (no block stack containers).
The container has a Propel VBS booking, with a truck registration included in Propel by 4:00pm.
The truck enters through Port Security at the Eastern Gate (Marine Parade end) from 4:40pm onwards.
There is no late process for empty returns.
