Update Napier Port R&D Hours of Operation

Kia ora,

Please be advised Napier Port will be extending opening hours at our Container Terminal Western Gate and Thames Street I and II Depots. From Monday 4 March 2024, our hours of operation will be as follows:

Note: Saturday opening days and Easter weekend hours will be confirmed in due course.

**Late Process: VBS – Zones 18 & 19 (Security Gate closes at 2000 to container trucks)

Napier Port offers a Monday to Friday late process for the collection of import full containers or drop off of export containers, provided that the following conditions are met:

• The export container has been pre-advised through Propel Export Pre-Advice Portal or business-to-business EDI messaging by 5:00pm.
• The import container to be collected is a specific nominated container and not a hazardous or out of gauge container (no block stack containers).
• The container has a Propel VBS booking, with a truck registration included in Propel by 5:00pm.
• The truck enters through Port Security at the Eastern Gate (Marine Parade end) from 5:40pm onwards.

There is no late process for Empty Returns.
