Container terminal closure expected Saturday 1 June

The forecast for high winds remains in place and we expect to have to close the Napier Port container terminal tomorrow morning, Saturday 1 June.

We anticipate this causing intermittent disruption to our receiving and delivery services.

Winds are forecast to ease between 9:00am and 12:00pm tomorrow, and R&D services will resume once winds are at a safe level. We will be extending our hours of operation at Napier Port and the Thames Street Depot to 1500 tomorrow, to offset any delays from the potential morning closures.

We thank our customers who delivered their cargo early today, and apologise for any inconvenience caused tomorrow.
