Napier Port has been serving Hawke’s Bay and its surrounding regions for nearly 150 years. As the gateway for Hawke’s Bay and the lower North Island, Napier Port plays a vital role in connecting the regional economy to global markets.

We operate a long-term infrastructure asset that supports the region’s growth by servicing container and bulk cargo, and also hosting a significant number of cruise ship visits. Our strategic purpose is to collaborate with the people and organisations that contribute to the prosperity of our region and beyond.

 In FY2024, we managed the arrival and departure of 571 ships, handled 5 million tonnes of cargo and moved 230,000 TEU containers across our wharves.
