- Hours of Operation: Easter 2021

Over the upcoming Easter weekend, please be advised that Napier Port’s Container Terminal and Thames Street I and II Depots will be closed for receiving and delivery on Good Friday and Easter Sunday but will open on the Saturday and Easter Monday. Unprecedented schedule unreliability is continuing to cause significant challenges across the current export peak season due to ongoing congestion across the wider supply chain. In order to proactively manage the flow of cargo through Napier Port and to provide certainty and guarantee our level of service to our customers, we have made the difficult decision to reduce our current container receival window to a new Six Day Container Receival Window starting effective from 6:00am Monday 29 March 2021.

- Upcoming Changes to Import Container Collection Process

Napier Port is constantly looking at ways to maximise efficiencies across our operations and continue to provide our customers with a high level of customer service. As part of this process, we are implementing a change to our import container collection process next month.
- Reminder – Seven day container receival window starts on Monday 15 February

We are actively working to ensure the flow of your cargo through Napier Port during busy times, particularly during our traditional export peak season. As per our previous communication in January, we have introduced a seven day container receival window. From 6:00am this Monday 15 February, we will only accept containers seven calendar days out from the arrival of the vessel on which that container is booked and confirmed.
