The high calibre of our region’s primary producers was evident at the annual Napier Port Hawke’s Bay Primary Sector Awards 2019 – an event that celebrates excellence, leadership and innovation across a sector widely recognised as the cornerstone of our local economy.
“In Hawke’s Bay, our economy is driven by the primary sector,” says Napier Port CEO Todd Dawson.
“As they continue to grow and succeed, so do we, along with the local economy as a whole.”
For these reasons, Napier Port is proud to sponsor the Hawke’s Bay Primary Sector Awards and be involved in recognising the high degree of talent in this sector.
“Hawke’s Bay’s primary sector is full of hardworking, passionate people, all of whom are playing a role in keeping our economy running.
“The Awards are always a great night that highlights the outstanding commitment of our farmers, horticulturalists, foresters and the rural professionals who support them.”
“We congratulate all those who won on the night, and commend everyone in the primary sector for their ongoing contribution. As long as these top quality exports are coming through our port, we will continue to ensure we deliver on our purpose of connecting producers to the world.”
