Important Reminder: Napier Port R&D Late Receival Process

With the recent changes to our late receival Friday timings (communications here), we wanted to send a reminder about the correct process for trucks accessing the container terminal via the Eastern Gate.

• Late receivals must be pre-advised with a CEDO by 1700. If they are not pre-advised and do not have a CEDO, then they will be rolled.
• If you pre-advise a container and for various reasons this container is no longer shipping via Napier Port then please ensure an email is sent to westg@napierport.co.nz so we can cancel the pre-advice.

Also, another reminder that our Container Terminal and Thames Street I and II Depots will be closed for receival and delivery on ANZAC Day – Thursday, 25 April.

Napier Port R&D Hours of Operation

**Late Process: VBS – Zones 18 & 19, Monday – Thursday (Security Gate closes at 2000 to container trucks)

+++Late Process: VBS – Zones 18, 19, 20, 21 & 22, Friday only (Security Gate closes at 2300 to container trucks)

Napier Port offers a Monday to Friday late process for the collection of import full containers or drop off of export containers, provided that the following conditions are met:

• The export container has been pre-advised through Propel Export Pre-Advice Portal or business-to-business EDI messaging by 5:00pm.
• The export container must have a CEDO by 5:00pm.
• The container has a Propel VBS booking, with a truck registration included in Propel by 5:00pm.
• The import container to be collected is a specific nominated container and not a hazardous or out of gauge container (no block stack containers).
• The truck enters through Port Security at the Eastern Gate (Marine Parade end) from 5:40pm onwards.

There is no late process for Empty Returns.
