Important Reminder: Traffic disruption due to Hawke’s Bay Marathon
Kia ora,
Please be advised that the Hawke’s Bay Marathon will take place on Saturday, May 18 and competitors will be crossing both the Eastern and Western gates during the race. The athletes will be crossing both entrances from approximately 8:30am through to 11:30am. Entry numbers are expected to be on par with last year, which is around 500-600 athletes.
As per previous years, Napier City Council will have traffic management and marshals in place at the entrance to ensure access for those who need it.
Thanks for your patience,

Sustainability aligned with global goals:
At the United Nations summit meeting in September 2015, world leaders adopted 17 global goals (and 169 targets) as a set of universal goals that aim to address the urgent environmental, political and economic challenges facing our world. These are known as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
More information on the SDGs and how Napier Port’s Sustainability Strategy aligns to these can be found here >>
