Napier Port Off Season R&D Hours of Operation Update

As we come toward the end of the peak season, Napier Port will be returning to standard R&D hours of operation from Monday 5 July 2021. We will be reducing our opening hours at our Container Terminal Western Gate and Thames Street Depots as below.

Please note that both locations will be closed on Saturdays from next week.

Napier Port R&D hours of operation – From Monday 5 July 2021

*Late Process: VBS – Zones 18 & 19 (Security Gate closes at 2000 to container trucks)

Napier Port offers a Monday to Friday late process of  import and export containers, provided that the following conditions are met:

• The export container has been pre-advised through the Community Access Portal or business-to-business EDI messaging by 1700.
• The import container to be collected is a specific nominated container and not a hazardous or out of gauge container (no block stack containers)
• The container has a manifested VBS booking by 1700.
• The truck enters through Port Security at the Eastern Gate (Marine Parade end) from 1740 onwards.

There is no late process for Empty Returns.
