We are pleased to advise that the Napier Port Container Terminal, Thames Street I and II Depots will now open at 0700 starting tomorrow – Wednesday 1 September. Operations will still cease between 1430 and 1530 to allow for our Heavy Plant Operating teams to clean equipment prior to shift change and avoid team crossover from one shift to another. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
Changes to R&D Hours of Operation
Napier Port R&D hours of operation will change effective from tomorrow Wednesday 1 September as below.
Propel VBS booking slots have been adjusted to reflect the new hours of operation. Transport operators have already been advised of these changes directly via a separate email.

*Please note: The container terminal and gatehouse will close between 14:30 – 15:30 to allow for shift change.
We kindly ask that all trucks park on the road when awaiting our 0700 and 1530 opening times – please do NOT enter the Western Gates as we do not want to block any entrances to the Port.
Shipping Schedule Reminder
To assist with the Propel VBS booking process, please remember there is an Export Receival Open column available on the Napier Port Shipping Schedule here. This information will let you review the container receival time for each vessel and see when the six day window is open. Please note, these times will be subject to change as per the normal shipping schedule changes.
