Port Pass Expired Access Reminder – Deadline Extended
March 3rd, 2023
Kia ora Port Pass Company Administrator,
As per our communications in August (available here), September (available here), and January (available here), the new Port Pass Company Administrator portal is live and all Port Pass card holders are required to renew their H&S Induction every two years in order to maintain access to Napier Port.
New deadline extended to Friday 17 March
We had advised an initial deadline of Friday 17 February for deactivating access for port users without a valid H&S Induction. In light of the devastating and ongoing impact of Cyclone Gabrielle on our region and communities, we have extended our deadline until Friday 17 March. This means that anyone entering the port from Monday 20 March will be turned away until their induction renewal is completed.
Given the current environment with many external visitors to the port, including emergency response personnel, maintaining safe and secure access to the port is a priority. We also appreciate that many people in our community have been affected by the cyclone, so please do reach out to the Port Pass Support team if you need any further assistance with your renewal process.

Thank you once again for your ongoing support of the Napier Port Port Pass access system and helping to make Napier Port a safer place.
At the United Nations summit meeting in September 2015, world leaders adopted 17 global goals (and 169 targets) as a set of universal goals that aim to address the urgent environmental, political and economic challenges facing our world. These are known as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
