Reminder: Container Terminal Road Works – 28 August – 6 September

Kia ora everyone,
A reminder that road works are now underway in the Container Terminal and will continue through to Sunday 6 September.
The Stage 1 work site has been marked out and barricaded, with milling and filling beginning today, Friday 28 August.
Please note the schedule is subject to suitable weather conditions. If anything changes, we’ll advise port users accordingly.
The works will be completed in two stages:
Stage 1: Friday 28 August – Sunday 30 August
Milling and filling will take place from Friday through to Sunday. On Sunday night, the contractor laydown area will move from Stage 1 to Stage 2
Stage 2: Monday 31 August – Sunday 6 September
The Stage 2 work site will be barricaded on Monday morning, followed by excavation, milling and filling throughout the week. Downer is expected to be off site by Sunday night.
Please familiarise yourself with the TMPs
Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) for each stage are included below. If you are driving or operating in the Container Terminal during these works, please take the time to review the relevant TMP before entering the area.
Stage 1: 28–31 August
Stage 2: 1–6 September
Please share this notice and the TMPs with any drivers, contractors or other personnel operating on your behalf who may be accessing the Container Terminal during this period.
