Road works will be carried out in the Container Terminal from Friday 28 August to Sunday 6 September, with Downer completing the works on behalf of Napier Port.
Please note these dates are subject to suitable weather conditions. If the schedule changes, we’ll advise port users accordingly.
The works will be completed in two stages:
Stage 1: Friday 28 August – Monday 31 August
Stage 2: Tuesday 1 September – Sunday 6 September
Please familiarise yourself with the TMPs
Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) for each stage are included below. If you are driving or operating in the Container Terminal during these works, please take the time to review the relevant TMP before entering the area.
While the works are underway:
Follow all temporary traffic management, signage and directions.
Be aware that normal traffic routes may change.
Take extra care when travelling through or near the work areas.
Stage 1 – 28–31 August
Stage 2 – 1–6 September
Please share this notice and the TMPs with any drivers, contractors or other personnel operating on your behalf who may be accessing the Container Terminal during this period.
