Due to the current seasonal demand, from Monday 3 March 2025 the Port’s Western Gates and Thames 1 & 2 Depots will be extending opening hours on weekdays to 1730hrs with Late Trucks accepted through our Eastern Gate until 2000hrs.
Please note: Saturday opening at the Western Gate and Thames 1 and 2 Depots will continue to be assessed based on customer requirements.

*Late process – zones 18 & 19
On the days marked with an asterisk (*), Napier Port will offer a late process for import and export containers, provided the following conditions are met:
The export container has been pre-advised through the Propel Export Pre-Advice Portal or business-to-business EDI messaging by 1700hrs.
The import container to be collected is a specific nominated container and not a hazardous or out of gauge container (no block stack containers).
The container has a Propel VBS booking, with a truck registration included in Propel by 1700hrs.
The truck enters through Port Security at the Eastern Gate (Marine Parade end) from 1740 to 2000hrs.
