Now that we are at Alert level 1 and have reached the end of our traditional export peak season, we will be lifting the seven day container receival window, effective from Monday 22 June.
Our priority is ensuring that all containerised imports and exports continue to flow through Napier Port during busy times, particularly during our peak season. This was certainly tested during the last few months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The port team would like to thank all of our customers and partners for their support and cooperation throughout the challenging lockdown period.
Receiving and Delivery
Effective from Monday 22 June, the seven day container receival window will be stopped and there will no longer be any date restrictions on receiving and delivery at Napier Port. Our Vehicle Booking System (VBS) will be updated to reflect this change.
Please note, we plan to review the receival window again prior to the next peak season, when our container terminal capacity will be impacted due to the construction of the new 6 Wharf.
If you have any technical questions about making a VBS booking, please contact Napier Port’s Western Gate Team – WestG@napierport.co.nz.
If you have any questions about this change, please contact Napier Port’s Commercial team.
