Napier Port has introduced changes to our Import Portal, to help streamline the process.
Thank you to all port users who gave feedback on the new system. We’ve taken your feedback on board, and made the following improvements. These will go live at 9.00am tomorrow, Tuesday 26 June 2018.
New ‘Remove Group’ feature
We’ve added a new Remove Group function to the drop-down box under Pickup Day/Group No. This feature allows the user to remove the current container group and re-assign it to another group (either Day Stack or Block Stack), prior to the vessel being locked.
Block stacks
The Import Portal will no longer automatically look to build a block stack with containers that have previously been assigned. Block stacks can ONLY be created prior to the vessel being locked. They cannot be created in the ‘yard’ location.
Day stacks
Day stacks can be created either prior to the vessel being locked, or once the containers are in the ‘yard’ location.
